• Found unique stories around Minnesota and the upper midwest, gaining access to sensitive spaces.
• Dynamically covered civil unrest and COVID-19 in 2020, providing intimate photography, high-quality audio from intense scenes and live social media coverage, informing public safety and bringing audiences close to the news. 
• Photo edited, managed photo wire services, assigned freelance photographers and guided visual report during seven-month absence of visuals editor and following departure of Senior Photojournalist in Feb. 2021.
